Vexora Rideouts · plain-English summary · effective v1.0.12

The short version: no email, no phone number, no trackers, no ads, no analytics. You choose a username and a password — that's the account. Your content (posts, photos, comments, records, rideouts) stays until you delete it, and you can download or delete everything from the app in one tap.

Who runs this

Vexora Rideouts is a free community app for scooter riders, run independently and hosted on Cloudflare Pages. For any privacy question or request: tezitec@gmail.com.

What we collect

Account: username, password (stored only as a salted PBKDF2 hash — never in plain text), optional scooter model, city, bio and avatar.
Content you post: garage photos, comments, reactions, GPS top-speed records and rideouts you create or join.
Check-ins: when you check in at a rideout, your approximate location (lat/lng) is stored to prove attendance.
Session: a random login token (stored hashed) that keeps you signed in for up to 30 days, in an HttpOnly cookie and/or the app's local storage.
Anti-abuse: temporary rate-limit counters that may include your IP address. They exist only to stop floods and are deleted automatically when they expire. Your IP is never attached to your profile or content.

What we never collect

No email address, no real name, no phone number, no advertising IDs, no third-party trackers or analytics, no push tokens. We can't contact you because we simply don't know who you are — that's by design.

How long we keep things

Your content: until you delete it (single items) or delete your account (everything).
Check-in locations: automatically deleted after 90 days.
Sessions: expire after 30 days; expired ones are purged automatically.
Rate-limit counters: from minutes to hours, auto-deleted.

Your rights (GDPR)

Download your data: Me → Account & privacy → Download my data. Machine-readable JSON, free, instant.
Delete everything: Me → Account & privacy → Delete my account (asks your password). It erases your profile, posts, photos, comments, likes, reactions, records, rideouts, check-ins, saved posts, notifications and sessions — including other riders' check-ins and RSVPs tied to your rideouts.
Object or ask anything: email tezitec@gmail.com and we'll answer.

Legal bases: performance of the service for account/content data; legitimate interest (anti-abuse) for temporary rate-limit data; consent given at sign-up.

Age

You must be at least 14 years old to create an account. If a minor's account needs removing, email us and it will be deleted.

Terms of use

Be decent: no harassment, illegal content, nudity, violence, hate or impersonation. Admins can remove content and accounts that break this.
Ride legally and safely; rideouts are organized by riders, not by us — each rider is responsible for their own acts. The service is provided "as is", free, without warranty.
One account per person. Reserved names (staff-like or brand-like) may be reclaimed.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the app will show it and ask for acceptance again. The current version always lives at this page.
